My journey on the world of tattooing goes back to around 2016 while still in college studying art as my career. In my early days of college, I would work with commissions. I’d get asked to do all kinds of paintings, sometimes originals, portraits, sometimes replicas and sometimes things I had never done before. At some point after getting my first tattoo, I became interested in the medium and started to dig in and think about it. I knew I wanted to travel the world, and tattooing just seemed perfect for it since is universal and an ever-growing industry. The more I got involved, the more I fell in love with it. It wasn’t until 2018 that I started tattooing professionally in Salt Lake City. With an artistic background consisting mostly of drawing and painting, you could say I picked up doing color tattoos pretty quickly. For a while, I mostly worked on color pieces, specializing in floral and watercolor styles. Over the years, I slowly shifted into more blackwork—while still keeping the floral work—instead changing the elements in my work for a more graphic-focused style. Among the things I like to do most are the aforementioned floral work, portraits, shibari, animals, and anything related to old art like art nouveau and renaissance. However, I am always willing to experiment and try new things and styles!
